Biography

Elissa Silguero is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on probate, guardianship, trust, and fiduciary litigation. She represents clients in both contested and uncontested estate matters, including will contests, dependent and independent estate administrations, and guardianship proceedings. Elissa brings a thorough and compassionate approach to helping families navigate complex legal issues during emotionally sensitive times.

Elissa earned her J.D., cum laude, from South Texas College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Corporate Counsel Review and was recognized with the CALI Award in Administration of Estates and Guardianship. During law school, she was actively involved in the Family Law & Probate Legal Society and participated in the school’s Probate Clinic, gaining hands-on experience assisting clients with navigating the probate process.

Prior to Hensley & Krueger, Elissa practiced at a boutique probate litigation firm, where she gained extensive experience in trust and estate litigation, including trial preparation, discovery management, and drafting complex motions and pleadings. She has also worked with clients to draft and execute estate planning documents, ensuring their wishes are carried out with clarity and precision.
